Sony KDL-42V4100
Great television !
For the price you pay , you get a tv you are gonna wish you never had to switch off.
The picture quality , colors and features are amazingly crisp.

Beats the Toshibas , Samsungs and everything else out there.
Don't compare it to the XBRs and you'll be damn happy you purchased this tv.

Head in a vice
This TV replaced a Samsung 42 inch DLP set. After careful adjustment it's color was good. The Samsung was better, but only after a $400 calibration. The best thing was that the fuzzy anti-glare screen was gone. Then came the bad news. This TV can only be viewed from directly head on. My chair is off-axis by only 30 degrees at 13 feet away. From that position, the blacks turn purple and almost start to reverse, the whites all turn pink, and the contrast is significantly washed out. It looks .... Read more

If it wasn't for the Amazon White Glove delivery it would have been a mess, It was immediately returned. The 2nd one turned up 1 1/2 weeks later, completely installed and works fine. Very satisfied
I looked at many different tv's before deciding on this. The picture quality is great, i only had to make some minor adjustments to the factory settings. Tons of connectivity ( 4 hdmi + others) allow me to hook up all of my devices. Games look great. Only downside is it's now [...] bucks cheaper than when i bought it .... Read more
