Disappointing DLNA and Amazon service
The picture of the Samsung 850 is what it is promised. Very clear and high resolution. What has though ruined the joy, is the limited capability of the USB and DLNA connection. The menu to control the viewing of pictures,music or movies is very difficult/limited to use. If you have a large database of picture, music og movies on your USB hard drive or computer, it will be almost impossible to find the exact file your are looking for. First off let me provide some basic info so you have an understanding of the use, location, and expectations for this TV. Let me state that this is the first HDTV we have ever owned. This is a replacement for a functioning 25" Zenith color console with a rotary dial (only has a flat UHF and VHF input) that we purchased new 25 plus years ago. Samsung, has produced a great product
I have purchased this television 8 weeks ago, a month ago I finally finished hooking up all the cables. 3 weeks ago I upgraded to HD with Dish network. The results are quite impressive, the clarity is really there. There is such a difference between the two most watched televisions in our home as one is not HD. Eventually I'll be getting another quality set like the Samsung LN46A850.

A Great Purchase
I made the decision to buy a Samsung LN46A850 after several weeks of research, but finding a suitable vendor was the next big challenge. Although some local stores offered price breaks, Amazon seemed to offer a significantly better price, along with free shipping. Once I placed my order, the delivery process was straightforward, easy to track, and on-time. The delivery person even brought the box up a flight of stairs.
