Quality Product
For under $800, this tv is a bargain. The picture is absolutely amazing. The preset color options for viewing different types of programs is a nice plus. The sound options for the simulated surround sound is pretty good also. A lot of options with the tv, but what it comes down to is picture quality. In hi-def, definitely a great pictures. No issues with blurred images due to refresh rate and the color is amazing. We've had the tv for about 2 months now with about 6 hours of viewing each day. No .... Read more

this is a great tv, my 2nd one, the first one got stolen, guess someone liked it more then me...so when i had to get another one, i got the same one , well the upgrade one. it looks great even without HD. that will come the first of the year. just want ya to know you cant go wrong with samsung. dont try that other off brand crap!!! you will just take it back... .... Great value in entry level HDTV
Bought to replace a bedroom TV and we are more than satisfied with our purchase. Great color, easy set-up, adequate input sources for our needs, and the picture is eye popping. We looked at 1080p sets, but elected for the 720p plasma, saved some money and bought a nice blu-ray player. The 720p by Samsung is a great value and we have not been disappointed at all. Also bought some $5.00 HDMI cables and found that the cheap ones work great with the TV also. I'm sure you will find TV's with mor .... Read more

It wont let you down !!
I settled on samsung PN42A450 recently and i tell you what, it didnt let me down...setup is quick. Basically LIFT the cover after removing the clips on the sides and do not spoil the cover by separating them into two. I got extended warranty of 3 years for peace of mind. I thought 42'' is going to be big for my room and with 6-7 feet of viewing distance, its not !! And no need to worry about 720p with the price being paid is less than [...] bucks..

Great TV
This TV is great. Great picture with normal cable connection. Some channels look 3D. Good sound. Good Service. There was a piece of styrofome behind the screen and samsung had someone at my house in 4 days to fix it. .... Read more
