Perfect TV for my kichen area.
This 26" Sharp TV is just what I was looking for. It's the right size for my kitchen area. It has a sharp picture and great sound. I like the built in DVD player which I can use to watch movies. The only drawback is that it takes a few seconds to warm up and changing channels. That's why I gave it 4 stars. Tommy .... Read more

Perfect
This TV is very easy to set up and the difference in HD and regular channels is definitely noticeable. The sound is great - others complain about the sound not going high enough but we have had no problems with the sound and the TV is in our living room. The DVD is definitely a HUGE bonus and I would not buy a flat screen unless it has this option - it eliminates the need to purchase a DVD separately and have another electronic piece to place somewhere.

a Big Hit
This beauty is hanging in our master bedroom. The display (in glorious HD) is a huge step up over the tv/vcr combo we had previously and the dvd player is easy to operate. The only negative is that our cable remote has no codes for these kinds of combo players. Not Sharp's fault. .... Read more

What a bummer
My complaint is with the basic functions of this TV. Why put the manual buttons on the top of the TV? Why no channel return on the remote? When you power on the TV. You stare at a black screen for 10 full seconds then a message comes on that says "please wait" along with spinning arrow as if it is thinking about whether there is a dvd in the player or not.
