We have owned this TV for about two months now, and are delighted with the product.

A TIP BEFORE UNPACKING
I wanted to pass along one tip for a new purchaser. When I saw the size of this box in my kitchen, I thought it was going to be quite the challenge to unpack and get the set into the family room. Excellent picture quality in HD. SD detail is also good. I am glad I went for the 630 instead of the 650 as the matte screen really helps in my bright living room. Easy to use right out of the box. The 3 HDMI inputs are more than enough. The wii connected via component also looks great. All in all easy to recommend. .... Read more

great tv
bought this tv for a room that faces the south with huge windows. while there is still glare it is much less than if you purchase the 650 or plasma. still trying to see if i notice the 120hz..i don't think so...all i do is watch sports so maybe its there and therefore i don't notice it?? anyways, the two tv's i deciding between were this and the 550 - i don't think you would notice much difference between the two.

Best TV of a really bright room
I was very leary about what HD LCD tv to get. I had gotten some input that the Samsung was the best. The dealer said the 550 was great and the other higher series tvs were not necessary. I then did some product searches, and the Ln46a650 was rated the best by many places. the only thing that bothered me was the shiny screen. Perfect for bright rooms.
One thing that always helped me make a decision between plasma and LCD sets was the fact that LCD's used a matte screen to reduce or eliminate reflections and glare. When I began shopping for a 2nd LCD for the home I wanted to go with Samsung as we had excellent experience with our 40" LCD.
